Our Wedding Week in Italy
20–27 June 2026
Villa Tombolina, Marche, Italy
We are so excited to spend an entire week celebrating together in the Italian countryside. Think sunshine, long lunches, swimming, wine, and a lot of laughter.
Here is a guide to the week so everyone knows what to expect.
Arrival Day
Friday 20 June
Welcome to Villa Tombolina.
There are no official plans today, simply arrive when you arrive, settle in, and start enjoying the Italian countryside.
Many guests will be flying into Milan, so we will be creating a Facebook group where everyone can share travel plans and coordinate getting the same train from Milan to Fano.
We will be running cars to and from Fano train station on both the 20th and 21st. Please let us know your arrival time so we can organise pickups.
Hens & Stags Long Lunches
Saturday 21 June
Morning: A relaxed morning at the villa, enjoy the pool, coffee, and a slow Italian start to the day.
Afternoon: We’ll split off for separate long lunches.
Girls Long Lunch
Theme: Vino Before the Vows
Dress Code: White or Cream
Boys Long Lunch
Theme: To be decided by the groomsmen.
After lunch we will all meet back at the villa for our first night together — drinks, music and a bit of First Night Fever.
Rehearsal & Welcome Dinner
Sunday 22 June
We’ll spend the day relaxing at the villa and doing a little bit of light setup ahead of the big day.
In the evening we’ll gather for our Rehearsal and Welcome Dinner.
Dress Code: Italian Villa Chic
Think linen, breezy dresses and relaxed elegance. Nothing too formal!
We’ll keep the night fairly relaxed so everyone is well rested for the wedding.
Wedding Day
Monday 23 June
A relaxed morning at the villa before we celebrate.
Timeline
3:30pm — Welcome drinks & prosecco
4:00pm — Ceremony
4:30–5:30pm — Cocktail hour
6:00pm — Guests seated for speeches
6:30pm — Speeches
7:30pm — Dinner
8:30pm — First dance
9:00pm — Sunset photos
9:15pm onwards — Dancing
Dress Code: Garden Party Chic
Elegant summer attire is encouraged.
The bridesmaids will be wearing variations of green.
Pool Party
Tuesday 24 June
The celebrations continue with a Slim Aarons inspired pool party.
Dress Code: 70s Pool Party Chaos
Think vintage swimsuits, oversized sunglasses, linen shirts and retro glamour.
DJ from 1pm until late.
Expect spritzes, sunshine and questionable dance moves.
Recovery Day
Wednesday 25 June
Today is intentionally slow.
Sleep in, relax by the pool and enjoy a quiet day together.
For anyone feeling up for it, we may organise a casual dinner in town that evening.
Explore Marche
Thursday 26 June
We will organise an optional day trip to explore the beautiful Marche region.
Ideas may include visiting nearby hill towns, wineries or the coast. More details will be shared during the week.
Departure
Friday 27 June
Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye.
Please pack up and depart by 11:00am.
Transport will be available to Fano train station for those travelling onward.
We can’t wait to celebrate this week with you in Italy.
